Eva is back and running for the second time! She has been secretary on the previous council, and has proven to be a champion for independent pilots and small corporations throughout new Eden. Game Design student and programmer in real life, Eva has been a bridge between player and developer, able to understand both sides of the table. The first term on the CSM has given her valuable experience and insights in all types of playstyles. With no hidden personal, corp or alliance agenda to tend to, Eva has shown dedication to improve Eve Online for all players, able to look from a neutral game design standpoint instead of biased personal views.
In addition, Eva is always interested in your views, especially after the elections! With a strong presence on the forums and various focus groups in game, she is on top of player concerns and always eager to find a solution. Players that had promising issues and ideas found their mails answered and effective two-way communication established. After all, the CSM is here to represent you, and that is exactly what Eva has been doing! With suicide ganking, black ops, factional warfare, missions and other important issues now firmly on CCPs agenda thanks to the first CSM iteration, it is time to push CCP a bit further and wring some concessions out of them.
Remember the 30 day game time codes? I know you want them back. Why haven't we got a skill queue yet? These are two of the issues that I have raised the previous CSM, and we have not been satisfied with. Eva knows all about these and other open issues, and will make sure they do not disappear under the carpet. Just because CCP might not like dealing with these issues, doesn't make them any less important to the players.
With Quantum Rise and the speed balance around the corner, and major updates in the pipeline for next year, you want Eva out there to gather your feedback and make sure your interests are being looked after as well. Eva will put in a bit of extra effort by writing documents about problems and controversial issues in Eve Online, and sending these to the developers. Contribute and communicate, as you do not have to be a CSM to have your voice heard, Eva is determined to be your voice!
