Virtual Fairground files Bankrupcy

After two projects fell through and their flagship product Club Galactik was shut down, Virtual Fairground was forced to file bankrupcy after rounds of layoffs reduced their staff of 50 to only 16. Virtual Fairground is not the first Dutch gamestudio to fall over; the industry is in pretty rough weather and has difficulty coping with a rapidly-changing market. Read more (Dutch)

Previously, Eva Jobse succesfully held lectures at the Utrecht School of Arts and was a guest speaker at IBM's "Virtual Worlds, Real Leaders" conference.

As part of the Council of Stellar Management, I have made several election movies. The CSM is also featured in a documentary, Another Perfect World, which I helped during the production phase by providing advice and footage.

CSM Movie 3: Berlin
When my two terms on the CSM came to a close, I started looking for a successor to take over my position. Erik Finnegan from Germany was chosen as next candidate. This is the campaign movie. Erik Finnegan won the CSM elections in July 2009.
